The resort's tropical beachfront garden, elegantly manicured to suit custom designed celebrations, is a great location for a relaxed ceremony as well.
The magical moment happens at sunset. You can catch a panoramic view of the breathtaking sunset uninterrupted from anywhere. An entrance fee of RM300 has to be paid by the photography crew who wishes to capture the beautiful scenery of the resort. The options of places to shoot are not many and shooting at some areas are prohibited. You can get some nice backdrop from the Garden, bench, the beach and rocks, amazing view of the villas but the sea water is murky.

It was early morning and the tide was so low that you can see the water so far from the shore. The place was so wonderful and we began to set up and shoot. We found few spots and things on the beach like these two metal chairs that the couple sat on. We used available props that we had and what was available in the location itself. Bikes and those colorful color wheel whatever they may call it. These kind of shoots, where you are on a very wonderful location, I made sure that the place was not taken for granted. Taking wider shots are as important as taking close up shots to emphasize the beauty of the location, or else we could have just shot it in a nearby park. One of my favorite photo of the day - There was a place with bamboos forming an arc. The place is just so near the shoreline but too many mosquitos that we had to do the shots quickly and leave to avoid getting more mosquito bites. I can still recall that part, I have clicked my shutter only less than 10 clicks and we moved on immediately. Another favorite was at the balcony of the Avani Spa just above the Bilabila restaurant. It showcases the view of almost half of the Avani Goldcoast showing the formation. It was an awesome view. The resort itself is amazing, the rooms were clean and tidy, room service is great, buffet breakfast is fantastic with endless choices, and the look-out views from each villa are like postcard!! this place is absolutely beautiful for a weekend getaway! On our wedding day, we called for buggy service so many times a day delivering the guests from villa to garden, garden to ballroom, and it was really convenient!! The resort event executive Alice was also very helpful on our wedding day, providing us all the help we needed & had to deal with various vendors and crews, the day turned out great and without the help of all the resort staff (all staff are so friendly and helpful!!), this would have been impossible.
