Gone were the days when wedding banquets had karaoke sessions to "entertain" the guests (even though it's still happening in some Chinese restaurants), or simply the groom and bride's favorite tunes playing in the background. Wedding live bands are hired to add a great deal of excitement to the celebration. Who don't love good music especially live one? It's like going to a concert, you get the thrill of being there to witness the actual performance together with a bunch of other spectators.
Choosing the right band depends very much on the wedding theme and your preference. A more Westernized wedding would usually open the dance floor to the slightly tipsy guests to shake it up. Upbeat songs would be more appropriate. If you already have a list of wedding songs in mind and would like the live band to perform them on the wedding day, then you should select the group that does the type of songs well. |
