http://www.iamyumimeiki.com/2015/11/jxy-l-e-g-l-l-y-m-r-r-i-e-d.html Nov 2015 We woke up pretty early to get ready and then off he went to pick his family up while i triple check all the other items that we had to bring along with us. Because it's a weekday, we headed over to the temple slightly earlier (just in case there would be jam on the road) but thankfully we were there really early. so we had time to take a couple of shots and catch up with friends. Waited for about an hour before it was our turn. The whole registration process was pretty fast. we took a couple of photos inside before the officer came in and then exchange oaths and we're official signed off the market. http://jonjoido.blogspot.my/2015/07/getting-it-legalize.html Jul 2015 We went to Thean Hou temple that weekend to submit our forms and photocopied documents of MyKad, birth cert and witness' MyKad and book (since we skipped the booking step) for our desired ROM date and paid a fee of RM 80. They'll choose a time slot for us and now, we wait for the day to come! *I'm so excited* | |
https://www.tripadvisor.com.my/ShowUserReviews-g298575-Thean_Hou_Temple Feb 2017 Very Chinese like venue where it is well known for their ROM Services among couples. There is a beautiful scenery on top of the upper deck where the temple is located. It is a nice place to go and it is really pack during Chinese New Year. Parking space is limited but they provide shuttle bus. You can have foods and get a lot of souvenir from the lower ground floor. The atmosphere over Chinese new year was incredible, everyone was very friendly and the building is so impressive. The view from the second floor was great, I also adored all the lanterns. Definitely worth going. http://www.tallpiscesgirl.com/2016/03/valentines-rom-thean-hou.html#.WL-vY39Ig2x Valentine's Day 14 February 2014 (14214!). Location – Thean Hou Temple (天后宫), the place where most Buddhists held their Registration of Marriage (R.O.M.). The day that Clumsy Boy and I signed the biggest contract in our lives. The contract that bonds two person to become one. I reached at 7.20 am, considered as quite early since Thean Hou Mass Registration Schedule mentioned that the first item in the agenda will start at 8.30 am. It’s safer to arrive earlier since the rush hour traffic is quite bad in the morning. The mass solemnization ceremony was done whereby all the couples stood up and put up our hand to swear. We had to repeat what was said and basically, the content is about marrying only one partner according to the law. Nothing lovey dovey like how the Christians said their vows in the church. After waiting for 30 minutes, it’s finally time for us to sign the documents and officially become husband and wife. Luckily the wait wasn’t too long. By 10.48 am, everything’s done and we can leave already! Phew~~ Really efficient. |
